25.01.2022 Our Fairy garden and Dinosaur land is very popular with the children. Lots of imaginary play going on there. If you have any ideas to make it better let one of us know.

24.01.2022 Don't forget we are on excursion to the movies tomorrow so that means children will need their hats a drink bottle and must be wearing appropriate clothing this means no singlet tops and shirts must cover their shoulders. We will be leaving for the movies no later than 9.30am so we suggest that children be at OSHC around 9.00 to be ready to go on time. We also encourage children to wear enclosed shoes as wearing thongs or sandals will limit the activities they can participate... in. Please like this post so we know that you have seen it :)

24.01.2022 Hi Families By now you would have received a text letting you know there will be a pupil free day on Friday 10th February. Unfortunately due to the time constraints we are unable to staff for a full day. Our staff team have other work/uni commitments during term time that they are unable to change in this amount of time.... we appreciate your understanding. Thanks Woodside OSHC

21.01.2022 Pupil Free Day Friday 3rd of June OSHC is heading down to SA Aquatic & Leisure Centre in Marion. Drop into OSHC to fill in a consent form but be quick as limited places are available.

21.01.2022 Some Reminders for the upcoming days for Vac Care Don't forget to send your children dressed in their brightest and most colourful clothes tomorrow for Bollywood day at OSHC. Prizes for the best dressed.... Wednesday the 18th of Jan is Flashback day at OSHC. Can children please bring in a young picture of themselves and a photo of a loved one when they were little. We are going to play a game and try to guess who you are. Please send your children with bathers everyday during Vac Care as when its hot we may get the water play out.

Come have a slide on the Dual land super slide or take a funny snap in the OSHC photobooth. Please let us know if you will be attending tonight and how many of you there will be.

19.01.2022 Due to the recent extreme weather we have been experiencing unfortunately we will be unable to attend the Bridgewater Fairy Garden tomorrow. Instead we will be going to the Mount Lofty Botanic Gardens. Thanks for your understanding.

19.01.2022 There has been a change of plans for tomorrows excursion, we will no longer be going to the Woodside pool as they are not open due to the cooler weather. Instead we have organised to go to the Blackwood Rec Centre to learn how to roller skate! :) We will be leaving here at 9.00am and will be returning to OSHC at 3.30pm.... Lunch will still be provided for the children but other healthy snacks still need to be packed for recess and brain food. Remember to pack drink bottles, hats, appropriate clothing (sleeves), and a pair long socks. To ensure children can enjoy all the activities planned for the day please make sure they wear/bring enclosed shoes. Please like this post so we know you have seen it :)

18.01.2022 Dont forget all children attending vacation care will require a sun safe hat and sun safe clothing. If children arrive at OSHC without a sun safe hat you can either go home and collect one or purchase an OSHC hat for $10.00.

17.01.2022 We are looking for donations of milk cartons and plastic bottles for an activity during the next Vacation Care. Place any donations in the tub near the whiteboard at our OSHC service. Please help us out by washing the milk cartons well so we dont get stinky sour milk smells. Thanks!

16.01.2022 We have lots of lost property left here from vacation care, please make sure you drop by and check if anything belongs to your child/ren as if it is not collected by next week (week 4) it will all be donated to the op shop.

11.01.2022 Yay! the end of our Verandah is now fully enclosed and looking fabulous with two whiteboards! We encourage all of our parents to write down what the kids got up to on the weekend. So far quite a few families have been adding to our whiteboard and the kids (and carers) have been really enjoying reading all about everyones fun experiences. The whiteboard markers for parents are next to the roll so please dont forget to write down what you got up to on the weekend before you go! :)

09.01.2022 OSHC needs 24 hours notice of a cancellation to avoid getting charged. For example this means that if you are cancelling for tomorrows after school session you will need to cancel BEFORE 3.00pm today.

01.01.2022 Have you spotted our funky new uniforms yet?

01.01.2022 We now have a HUGE hopscotch that the kids designed and a four square court. It surprised us all that not many of the kids knew what four square was. But that hasnt stopped them learning how to play, the children have really been enjoying playing the new game. Our next big project we will be painting the hopscotch in bright colours with some beautiful patterns.... Any donations of bright outdoor paint from families will be greatly appreciated!
