09.01.2022 As you have heard recently, Beirut was shocked with a devastating explosion killing and injuring many, as well as leaving so many families with no shelter or essential supplies. Thank you to the families who have checked in and shown support to our owners, educators and families of Lebanese background. Everyone in some way whether in Australia or Lebanon has been affected by this, therefore, Woodstock Childcare and Early Learning Centre have decided to organise a ‘Help Be...irut Initiative’ across our three services. During the next fortnight, we will be discussing with our children the impacts on humanity that such an event has as well as collecting money donations and essential supplies to donate. All donations will be donated to three supporting foundations within Sydney that have organised containers to be sent to NGOs (non-government organisations) within Lebanon. See more
