19.01.2022 Lucky seven sleeps and we are one week away!!!! Number 7 reason is the wonderful Levena Stewart, direct from Charters Towers!!! Levena and her band will be on stage in the evening, so stay later and enjoy some great entertainment, a bbq and licensed bar, so bring your cash!

17.01.2022 We’re getting close now!!! Only four more sleeps! Number 4 reason is our Woodstock district historical display and Welcome to Country, led by traditional owner Gresham Ross. The Woodstock area has been an important area for thousands of years . for our traditional owners it is the border country for three clans learn more during the official opening of the Woodstock Country Fair and Sustainable Living Expo, set to take place at 2.30pm. We have a jam-packed day, so check our program!!!!

16.01.2022 Fancy a run in the country? Head out to Woodstock on August 10 for an afternoon and evening of entertainment for all ages at the Woodstock Country Fair and Sustainable Living Expo. We'll have plenty of country hospitality, unique entertainment, kids rides and amusements, historical displays, an awesome cake stall with home baked delights, handicrafts and unique market stalls and a field day with machinery, pest animal and plant management, sustainable building, off-grid living and much more! Official opening is at 2pm, come early for afternoon tea and bush poetry and stay through the evening for live music and a licensed bar and barbecue. Thanks to Townsville City Council for supporting the event.

16.01.2022 This signed Matt Scott jersey will be one of the items auctioned on Saturday night. This is a great collectors item there’s no reserve so be there on the night and you could score yourself a bargain!!! We also are auctioning a luxury weekend for two at Mariner’s North, a $600 voucher from Direct Wholesale Tyres, an Ipad from major sponsors Steel Pacific Insurance Brokers, just to name a few.

14.01.2022 One more sleep and it’s go time!!! Come out and see us tomorrow from 2pm. Our number 1 reason to attend is our wonderful COMMUNITY!!!! Come and meet the Woodstock locals and get a warm welcome!!! Unsure where to head??? Drive along the Flinders Highway until you get to the Woodstock Shop. If you’re coming from Townsville, turn right, cross the railway line and then it’s your first left. All the fun will be at the Woodstock State School. See you tomorrow afternoon (bring your cash!).

14.01.2022 Five more sleeps and it’s Fair time!!!! Number 5 reason is our market stalls!!! We have had an amazing response from wonderful country crafters, fresh produce and a range of other unique items! It’s cash only, so come along and see market stalls you haven’t seen before!

We have some wonderful Woodstock entrants Invictus the Bull, Navajo the Horse, Shirley the hot Chick and Rosell the Goat. Who will take out the prestigious title??? Bring the kids, bring mum and dad, bring Grandma and Grandad, and all the relatives!!! We have a café, market stalls, the Sustainable Living Expo and Field Day, kids amusements, laser tag, two stages with entertainment. The event is FREE to attend (bring your cash), so come on out and discover Woodstock!!!

Number 10 is to help us celebrate 90 years of Woodstock CWA!!!! Come along and see what the CWA does, how it assists our community and others and meet the wonderful women behind the badge! If you want to come out to Woodstock earlier, the CWA is hosting hoy from 12.30pm in their hall so start off there and come and join us at 2pm. Remember to bring your cash!

Our cake stall is going to be EPIC the region’s home bakers have been firing up their country kitchens and there is going to be AWESOME food to try, buy and take home. Have afternoon tea at our café, enjoy a BBQ, authentic Thai food from Toonpan’s very own Busara’s Authentic Thai, and sit and relax and take in the country air!!! Remember, bring your cash!

Bush poetry is a skill that is celebrated throughout the country, and we will have some of the nation’s finest join us on August 10 at Woodstock. We also have a father and son whip-cracking team who will be putting on a display for our visitors don’t miss it!

Thanks to the Townsville City Council and Biosecurity Queensland, we will have experts on deck to help you identify and get control of those weeds. We also have a guest speaker talking about Integrated Pest Control on your land be it a small backyard or a big grazing paddock.
