23.01.2022 We would like to take the opportunity to say a huge thank you to everyone who attended the Family Night. We had over 180 people from both the local community and afar (even some scheduling a trip home from China) attending. Long term residents, new residents, young and old all enjoyed a night of great food, music and dancing. A big thank you to our organisers: - Katie Stanley, Zoey Kirwan and Kate Coren. Not to mention Murray Hicks for his mouth watering smoked beef and sausa...ges. Thanks also to anyone else who assisted in any way. Well hopefully see you again next year. - Pat for the Woodville School of Arts

22.01.2022 Our AGM is ready to kick off at 7.30. Not to late to come and join us for a social evening. See you soon.

22.01.2022 Come and enjoy a social evening with the local Woodville Community, enjoy a drink and some nibbles and hear the exciting things the future holds for our wonderful Hall!

22.01.2022 We missed out on a grant application to paint the interior of the hall but - no worries - Woodvilles ever reliable community spirit has rallied left right and centre and a small army of volunteers has been hard at it in recent times, as a support crew for veteran professional painter Rob Kennedy (emerging briefly from retirement for this important job). Cate Coren has been a driving force along with Pat Lannen, Lis Smark, John and Carol Kaczorowski, Alina McKee and the exten...ded Redman family from Albion Farm and Gracemere have all been standouts - and others from the committee and the community have chipped in as well. Many minor repairs have been done as well, and new lights added to better illuminate the stage. The coat of arms has been re-hung - the pressed metal stage surrounds boast a new bronzed metallic colour theme. The main body of the hall is near complete, with the supper room to go. After her recent exterior paint, the old girl is looking really great! The hall is the badge of our small rural community, and today that badge is shining bright as ever. If youd like to help for a spell tomorrow, just turn up during the day. We always appreciate practical help. See more

10.01.2022 AGM We had a wonderful group of community members give up their evening last night to support the hall by attending the annual general meeting. The community wishes to sincerely thank the committee who have served over the last year, and are proud to announce office holders for the year ahead: President John Redman, Vice-President Elisabeth Smark, Secretary Patrick Lannen, Treasurer Helen McCall and committee members Chris Proctor, Naomi Hunter and Catherine Coren. Thank you for being so willing to serve our hall and the community. Please follow the hall on our new Instagram account!

05.01.2022 A couple of weeks ago, the 2/3/4 class at Iona Public School enjoyed learning to cook with fresh produce from their own garden in the hall kitchen. So wonderful to see the children in our community learning to grow their own food and prepare wholesome meals with it! #growcookeat #communityhall #school #homemade #homegrown #homemade #teachthemyoung #teachthemwell #childrenarethefuture

02.01.2022 The Wedding Designer

02.01.2022 We are proud to recommend the Woodville School of Arts and community hall as a reception option for Albion Farm Gardens. Conveniently located across the road fr...om the gardens, the hall offers a perfect blank canvas, BYO option for brides and grooms wanting the full Woodville country wedding experience. If our couples choose to use the hall for their reception, we like to make this as seamless and stress free as possible. This is why we offer a decorative, furniture hire service. Caitlin & Josh were married in the gardens and had their reception at the hall. The team at Albion Farm helped transform the hall into something we are really proud of. Bamboo from the gardens helped drape the beautiful greenery brought in by the florist and our furniture and lighting helped compliment this space and make it something truly memorable. Thank you Margan Photography for these beautiful photos.
