25.01.2022 Not a guitar, not a drum, but this was done for a musician, so technically fits the page...
20.01.2022 There's a big blurb below..... This time there's cabinetry and electronics. This is my first valve amp build... I am almost speechless with how good this really is.
20.01.2022 The new road case badges arrived today!!!
19.01.2022 Knobs on the dash... on their way back to a workshop.
14.01.2022 Although this is meant for the display of model cars, those special snares I collect will look great in a bigger one of these!
10.01.2022 I was asked to repair one and make a second new. These knobs adjust the tension on antique kettle/timpani drums. I'm not sure what the original timber for the knobs was, so I chose Jarrah for it's colour and durability. The cover/plaque in the middle gives an idea of it's identity. Circa 1890's.
09.01.2022 Life is never boring. A special client asked if I would do the alterations and clean up required to get this ready for a turntable and Sonos speaker setup. The cavity in the top is where the turntable sits.
08.01.2022 Awaiting one freaking handle..... Fender twin case.
06.01.2022 Not a lot of wood in these, except for the multiply bases...
04.01.2022 How silly of me not to share this here... see blurb below..
01.01.2022 If you have a precious snare, this is the best way to transport it from A to B. This case features 6mm marine ply (painted) with 25mm of foam all round the drum, Penn Elcom fittings used all over and is lined to avoid foam-dust. Terrill Roadcases come with a 10 year warranty on all fittings and construction. 2 years on the foam. This particular case will fit a 14x8 but can be built to suit any size. For a price comparison, this case is RRP $350.00 AUD. Prices will vary according to design.
