22.01.2022 I'm not sure if you are aware but, Gympie Bone Museum is on the move to new premises. Like all of the Museums which are not for profit they depend on donations from the public. If you can, please help them reach their goal for the bond at their new premises. This is one of the Educational places along with the Gympie Gold Mining and Historical Museum (and of course us) that Gympie is fortunate to have.

22.01.2022 We'd like to welcome the Gympie Bone Museum to their New Home in the Grounds of the Woodworks Museum and Interpretive Centre.

12.01.2022 This month sees two of our valued volunteers retire. They both like to stay out of the lime light but for once, lets us recognise the work they do. Jimmy Whitney has stoked the boiler for several years that operate the Sawmill and also kept us all supplied with fresh Vegetables. Good luck for the future. Dave Drysdale has greeted visitors for Several years and kept us entertained with his jokes. Best wishes Dave. We rely on Volunteers to keep the Museum Operational. We currently are looking for some to assist one or two days a week with meet and greet. If you can help send us a message to [email protected] or come in and see us.
