19.01.2022 Hi guys. Getting close again!!! Good to see the familiar faces coming through early mornings again. Thanks a lot! Currently open from 6am till 4pm. Will open at 5 once the whites are on the run. Phone ahead system works well for tucker and coffee for those in a hurry. 9418 6496... Our Cray bait is full stocked and moving fast. Roughy- 4 head packs $9 and 20kg bulk $68 plenty available at this stage. Tuna heads- 2kg $9.50 20kg $68 Blue Mac 1kg 8.50 20kg $72. This year we’ve got spare Battern’s, bait lids, bait baskets, ropes, escape gaps, annodes(a week away), gloves and more. 3/4 steel base pots with 20mt of rope, engraved float, small float $220 complete. Loops, catch bags etc all arriving here next week. Anything we don’t have just let us know and we’ll stock if there’s a demand. Pretty keen to keep everyone happy and coming back. 11.01.2022 Woodies Marlin. At Woodies Cafe we have had an anonymous Marlin hanging on the wall. No one recalls where it came from. Lots of people admire it and ask who caught it! Who made the beautiful mold, etc. Last week we had a guy tell us that his Brother caught the Marlin West of Rottnest. About 30 or so years ago.... The fisherman was Gerry O’Loughlin. A staunch game fisherman. Do you know anything about him? Do you know anything about this Marlin ? Please let us know. The photos show the Marlin on the wall and a sign we have just made to acknowledge Gerry as the guy who caught it. Thanks, Woodies cafe, bait, fuel and tackle.
