22.01.2022 My first day back working on my own yesterday, was difficult, but onward and upward. walking in a moon boot now, without crtuches. turnaround time should be back to normal by next week , all going well.

21.01.2022 Breaking my foot again made me realize how much traveling I do for WP ironing service, and I realized that I have slipped myself into a 7 day work week. So it is time to restructure and streamline. I spend lots of time doing pick-ups and deliveries. I would like to change this to 3 times a week, this would make the turn around time longer. I hope this is going to be ok. Here is what I would like to trial.... Pick-ups and drop offs Tuesday night between 5.30/6.30 Thursday night between 5.30/6.30 Sunday morning between 8.30 /9.30 eg if I pick up from you Sunday morning, I can return it Tuesday night, or if I pick up Tuesday night I can bring it back Thursday night and so on. If you drop off to me, please still do so anytime, and as usual it will be a couple of days until its ready and Ill let you know when it is in the shed, or I will drop it back to you on one of the three times listed above. I would like to trial this new schedule starting next Sunday 25th August. Ill chat with you when I see you next, hoping we can make it work. chrissy

20.01.2022 Good morning . This time next week we will be in our new home at 212 King street Clontarf. I will be operating Woody Point ironing Service Sunday , Monday , Tuesday next week but will be taking Wednesday Thursday and Friday off to move. If these are you usual ironing days, I can squeeze you in either before or after my days off just let me know which you would prefer. If you pick up and drop off, I wont have my planned shed ready for a week or 2 so pop it on the door step or contact me to arrange a time for me to receive / return it, just for a little while. 18.01.2022 Wow what a year it has been. I haven’t had a proper break for a while. This year there are a couple of family mile stones happening over the Christmas period. Leann and I are both taking a 3 week ironing break. Last ironing day for the year will be the 12 December ( last pick up 10th December for delivery on 12 th) and I’ll be back on January 2. I wish you all a very Happy and safe Christmas.

15.01.2022 Hi all. Safe to say foot surgery wasnt quite the silver bullet Id hoped it would be. I now have help with the part of ironing that is hardest on my foot. So Sunday is the new Monday around here please feel free to drop Off or call me to pick up on Sundays. I (or you ) can pick up / drop off anyday but new ironing days will be Sunday... 04.01.2022 Dang twisted my ankle and fractured a bone in my driving foot. Will be unable to drive for a while I'll arrange for a friend to do Tuesday pick ups and drop offs. Mum might be able to come and help for a while. But if you are able can you drop to me please. I'll get help so shouldn't be a huge disruption

02.01.2022 Morning all, just keeping everyone up to date on my foot suregery dates. On June 28 Ill be having a foot reconstruction. Mum will be here to take over the business and look after me and the girls, but if you could get any large baskets in by the 25th of June so as to not inundate her with too much at once. ill be off at least for 3 weeks, but i hope not to have too much disruption to the service, i have helpers, but please bear with a slightly slower service for a few months till the cast comes off.

01.01.2022 Hi everybody, Tuesday June 28th Ill be heading off to hospital to have ankle surgery. There will be a disruption of service for a few days, but my Mum will be taking over till the 13th July, she has her own ironing business in Melbourne, so it will be in good hands. Im still waiting to hear from the doctor about driving, but Im expecting to be out of action on that front till end of July. I am hoping Tuesday is the day that I can have a friend drive around for pick ups, an...d then perhaps Wednesday for drop offs., but this is not set in stone yet. Alternatively, you can drop off/ pick up at the house anytime at 60 Chatham street Margate, either leave it in the garage, or on the front porch, the turn around time will probably be an extra day over the next couple of months. Ill be taking baskets up until Monday 27th June and Mum (Blanche) will resume service on the Friday the 1st of July. That is all the planning I can do for now, until I know how much needs to be done to the ankle, which they wont know till the have a look inside. Best wishes Chrissy See more
