18.01.2022 Both Teniell and I would like to congratulate Pete and Mandy as they venture onto the next part of life. Kicking back and relaxing and enjoying each other’s company outside of Woodys. Mandy couldn’t help herself and had to construct one last pizza and then dragging Pete from the shop for the last time. They have been customers for some years, and know about the importance that we have given our regular customers. They take over on Friday 23rd October. 04.01.2022 It is with great joy and mozzarella sweat that Woodys have gone back to back centuries. Absolutely amazing and proud of the super effort from the team, Abbey, Jayden and Paigey. Raised the pizza peel and kissed the baggy black! Thanks also to Dorrie for the home grown cucumber and basil dropped in tonight, nothing better than fresh local produce on the menu!

03.01.2022 Looking for reliable pizza maker for busy Woodfired pizzeria in Nowra to join our team. Ideally will have experience in both pizza making and/or woodfired cooking but not essential. Work hours are 4-8:30 daily but due to demand we are opening later during busy periods.

01.01.2022 Seeking and experienced pizza maker with experience in preparation of pizza dough & toppings, making pizzas ready for cooking. -ideal candidate will be switched on, self motivated and willing to learn our way of making pizza. You will:- -Ideally have at least 2 years experience as a pizza maker/cook in a busy restaurant environment but not essential. -Food safety certification advantageous but not essential -Predominately be filling and cutting pizzas for this role but expe...rience cooking with a single door electric oven is an advantage. -Be willing to learn our way of stretching dough, cutting and filling pizza bases. -Be able to follow and fulfil instructions given by our Pizza Cook and Kitchen Manager. -Be able to fulfil pizza orders as required in a timely manner and to standard. -Be hard working and able to cope in a high pressure environment. -Be able to monitor food for quality. -Be well presented. -Be a team player, maintain hygiene standards, be well organised and customer service oriented. -Able to work evenings and weekends. -You must be able to work 3-5 nights from Tuesday to Sunday - 4pm - 9pm.
