25.01.2022 Hello! The week is here! Woolarium is reopening for in store visits on Thursday 29 October 2020, 11am - 4pm. We’re looking forward to having you back in store - things will remain different for a little while but we’re finding our Covid normal. We’re going to limit the number of shoppers at one time to 4 and you will be able to book in for ball winding services but we won’t be offering to wind while you wait. 22.01.2022 I chatted through the shop door with someone yesterday who is dipping their toe () into sock knitting for the first time this lockdown with a pair of slippers and I love it! Have you tried something new this year? I’ve not been making much but looked in a project bag and found this gorgeous sock which I started at the end of last year using Knit Pro Zings and fab yarn from @melbournecitydyeworks01 - I’ve got to pick them up again because then I can wear them and admire my b...right pink toes! 15.01.2022 I got into a bit of tangle this week after having casually encouraged people for weeks about how straightforward it is to hand wind a ball of yarn well that didn’t go as well as I keep assuring people but triumphantly the tangles were smoothed yesterday now to cast on! 12.01.2022 Well, here we are! After the further information announced today about what Stage 4 lockdown will look like Woolarium will now be closed for in store visits. Tomorrow (4th Aug) and Wednesday 5th Aug we will have in store pick up available for online orders between 12pm and 3pm. From Wednesday night onwards we will only operate online and be sending things out through the post. Over the next little while we’ll be getting the website in better shape and helping with projects remotely. Thank you, thank you, thank you for how you have supported me and Janet and the shop since this all began in March. We just love helping people work out their projects and seeing your progress - long may that continue I hope you’re all doing ok despite these difficult circumstances Anna
