23.01.2022 It was a big day at Woolbrae today, early start as usual, walk around the property and a day removing fallen branches, now the cross country course is clear

23.01.2022 Did you know we are totally refurbishing our cross country course at Woolbrae. Under the guidance of renowned course designer and builder Ewan Kellett, we are both making the course safer, but also more than 12 new jumps, with jumps built to both EA80 or EA65 standard. Bound to be popular is a new trakehner that looks pretty awesome to me. More pics to come.... The photos below are two of the new portable jumps built this week ready to be installed once it stops raining. Very exciting!!

21.01.2022 It was great watching Bree and others being coached by Paul Williams yesterday (despite the rain). Pauls reputation speaks for itself and its a real privilege to have him at Woolbrae. We are intending to run jumping clinics every Saturday with Paul for either group (max 3) or privates, commencing 20/6. Each session will be 45 minutes. Please let us know of your interest and we will open up bookings shortly.

17.01.2022 Together with my wife Georgia and our children Archer (12) and Ingrid (10), I am delighted to announce we have taken over the ownership of Woolbrae Equestrian from Suzie Batten and Ian Coltman. With its own purpose built 60 x 50m sand show jumping arena, 60 x 20m dressage arena, professionally designed cross country course and paddocks with shelters, its truly a magnificent place to be for those into equestrian. We will continue to operate full agistment services, including... feedouts, rugging, manure pick up etc although with our own horses and current clients we are almost full, so if you are interested in joining us please get in touch soon to avoid disappointment. All horse owners of all abilities are welcome, especially kids! Our full time manager, Andy Allen is there to give you peace of mind that your horses and facilities will be well looked after. Woolbraes arenas will be exclusively available to agistment clients during weekends and after 3PM weekdays. We will however offer arena hire to outside clients between 9AM and 3PM weekdays subject to availability. Instructors are welcome as long as they hold the relevant insurances. Tex is a dear part of our family, and is our daughter’s first pony (bought when she was 10). He is the most popular horse on the property, loves a cuddle and looking for his next best friend. He is very well educated, a multiple winner in dressage, show jumping and horse trials up to grade 4 level but is equally as comfortable trotting around on a loose rein. Done years of pony club. Ideal second pony, or first pony for an experienced horsey family. He is quiet and kind but not bombproof. He catches you in the paddock, good for farrier/ float. No bolt, bite or buck and is ridden in a snaffle. Happy with other horses in the same paddock, does not require stabling. Shoes on front feet. Special thanks to master course builder Ewan Kellett for his tireless work, we think the result is fantastic, and most of all much safer. 31 jumps in total, the course is now built to EA65 and EA80 standards, an ideal eventing training track. Ps Also big thanks to Ella Zele for the brush jump she made for her school assignment. We hope you got an A+
