25.01.2022 Hi Everyone, hope everyone is good and is not to stressed with the social distancing plus isolation rules. Playgroup NSW Community Playgroups suspend playgroup sessions for the remainder of the term (up to 9 April 2020), consistent with Government advice at the time to avoid non-essential gatherings of people. They have now extended the suspension of all programs beyond the 9 April 2020, until further notice. Have a happy Easter, we will get through this and look forward to seeing you all. Keep safe!!!

18.01.2022 Playgroup is on tomorrow (Tuesday 22nd). All welcome. We’ll take a break from the sun mid-morning and do some tracing, thinking & drawing to make good use of a bunch of old Disney tiles.

17.01.2022 To all parent, guardians and carer's that attend playgroup. We are suspending our Woolgoolga Family Playgroup to actively apply the following health advice "Social Distancing" where possible, so to remain responsible we are closed until Thursday the 9th of April 2020. This is to remain responsive as the situation surrounding COVID-19 develops. Playgroup NSW will be closely monitoring announcements by the Commonwealth and State Governments on the health advice relating to this virus. If there are any changes to the date we will let you know. We hope you all stay safe, and see you all on Thursday the 9th of April.

15.01.2022 Playgroup will be open tomorrow (Tuesday, 27th) 9:30 - 11:30am. **We will be doing a tidy up of the garden beds - adults and children welcome to help.** Please bring gloves, kids shovels or buckets and spades etc if you’d like to get involved. The usual toys and equipment will be out too for the little one who prefer to play, play, play.

13.01.2022 Update from Playgroup NSW, Fri 5th June: Dear Playgroup NSW community,... With the NSW Government restrictions having changed on 1 June 2020, we would like to provide an update on Playgroup NSW’s progress related to returning to face to face Playgroup. While the restrictions have been relaxed, these do not apply to playgroups just yet. We acknowledge there have been a number of questions about returning face to face and we share your excitement to get back to playgroup. Our key priority is ensuring that all of our children and families can return as safely as possible and that we have a plan to address hygiene requirements and venue considerations. We are working rapidly on a Return to Playgroup plan that caters to supported playgroups and community playgroups, and look forward to sharing more on this with you shortly. In the meantime, our digital delivery of playgroups is going well, and we encourage you to reach out if you have not yet had access to participate in a digital playgroup. 12.01.2022 Playgroup is open this morning! I’ll be there in a few mins - sorry!

11.01.2022 Hi everyone! Just another friendly reminder that playgroup will be ON tomorrow (Tuesday, 28th, 9:30-11:30)! A few things to be mindful of please: We will be doing our best to follow Covid guidelines so we can all stay healthy & playgroup can remain open.... Please help out by taking note of the signs and only attend if you and you little one/s are 100% well. We will not be making fruit salad for morning tea. Please byo morning tea/snacks. The area is grass, but you may want to bring a blanket or towel and perhaps the children can have more of a spread out picnic on the grass for morning tea. We will limit the amount of toys & equipment that are out for use so we can stay on top of cleaning them after use. Our shade sails have recently been repaired but are not back up yet. Although there are some shady areas, please ensure you bring hats as there’s still lots of sun. We will pack up a little earlier than usual so there’s time to clean the toys. I’ll set up some music for the kids towards the end. Finally, we are limited to 20 people (includes adults and children) per session. We will monitor how this goes. At this stage please just turn up, but if the numbers grow we may have to take bookings for the sessions. Looking forward to some fun tomorrow!

04.01.2022 Hi everyone hope you all are in good health. You will be excited to know Woolgoolga Family Playgroup the first session will be opening on Tuesday 28th of July with COVID-19 rules to be followed. We will only be opening on the Tuesday's at the moment. There is limited spaces so unfortunately it will be a case of first in stays, we will have space for approximately 10 people (parents/children). Please bring morning tea for your child/children, there will be no sharing of fruit ...during this time, toys will be limited, if you could stay to help clean and pack away the toys at the end of the session it would be very appreciated. To keep everyone safe Playgroup NSW have given strict guidelines for everyone to comply with for Playgroup to reopen. 1. Physical Distancing Reducing the close physical contact with others by staying 1.5 metres away from other people 2. 4 square metre rule The 4 square metre rule helps to determine the maximum number of people who can be on or in a premises at any one time. It does not determine the distance between people. 3. Group Size The maximum group size is 20 people, indoors and outdoors. This includes children. 4. Recording Attendance An electronic form to collect all the required details of each person that attends each Playgroup session. We ask that you please ensure that you complete all the required details: 5. If you or your child have or showing any cold like symptoms please stay at home. (Runny nose, coughing, fever or just unwell). Thank you all for being so patient during these difficult times.
