The lake is a coastal lagoon ideal for swimming, kayaking, fishing and canoeing. Our premium Waterview Villas have large veranda’s that over look the lake. The Woolgoolga village has great shopping, restaurants, friendly cafes and there’s a service club with bowling greens. The park offers one free daily entry into the Woolgoolga Swimming Pool(seasonal). Lakes...ide park accommodation options include villas with views of the lake, powered Ocean View cement sites, grass powered sites and unpowered tent sites. Other facilities include a modern amenities building serviced through solar energy and an under cover BBQ’s. Lakeside is located next to Woolgoolga Lake picnic reserve with BBQ’s and children’s playground. Woolgoolga Lakeside is our pet friendly park and welcomes visitors travelling with their pets through out the year with exclusion dates of Christmas and Easter School Holidays. Woolgoolga Beach is famous for it’s buried shipwreck ‘The Buster’ which is often fully exposed to the elements. The Woolgoolga Headland offers the perfect viewing spot to see migrating Humpback Whales passing along the coast between May and November. Dolphins are often seen playing in the waves at Woolgoolga Beach. About 4km inland are Sherwood Nature Reserve and Woolgoolga Picnic Area.
