13.01.2022 They went with songs to the battle, they were young. Straight of limb, true of eye, steady and aglow. They were staunch to the end against odds uncounted, They fell with their faces to the foe.... They shall grow not old, as we that are left grow old: Age shall not weary them, nor the years condemn. At the going down of the sun and in the morning, We will remember them. LEST WE FORGET

11.01.2022 VERY HIGH Fire Danger Rating predicted for tomorrow Monday 23 November 2020. Fire permits are suspended from midnight tonight for 24 hours.

08.01.2022 Hi all. We’ve had some requests for tours of our equipment recently and with COVID making things a bit restricted to make our own videos, we branched out. Our friends from Hornsby/Mt Ku-ring-gai have some really slick videos about a few different things, and this week I thought I’d share this one. While most of the equipment on this appliance is similar to ours, we do not carry CABA sets. The rest though, is very similar. Enjoy...... https://www.facebook.com/HK.RFS/videos/1203474453341038/?vh=e&extid=0

06.01.2022 Make a difference. Volunteer with the NSW Rural Fire Service. There are many reasons to join the NSW RFS. You may want to protect your families, your friends, your home and assets, your community, and your way of life. Volunteering also offers the opportunity to learn new and valuable skills that will not only assist you in your voluntary role but in day to day life and even your workplace. It is also an opportunity to meet people you wouldn't normally meet.... For many of our members, it's also about being part of a wonderful tradition and an organisation with a very proud history.
