24.01.2022 The October Long Weekend is the date for the peculiarly Wooli celebration - the Australian National Goanna Pulling Championships. With market stalls, food and many events including Best Decorated Bicycle, sprint races for young and old, brick carrying endurance races, woodchops and of course the Goanna Pulling, there is something for everyone. Wooli River Lodges are always booked out for this weekend, so book soon for 2020 and get your booking at 2019 prices.

19.01.2022 The huge amount of rain we had a couple of weeks ago has had many benefits. The wetlands are replenished, the bush is smiling and the brolgas are back. Visit soon before they disappear again.
