10.01.2022 At Woollahra as a social enterprise we are determined to constantly give back in line with our values of helping community & country. Yesterday we made a supply delivery to Sue Bung. Sue is a Nyiyaparli Lady from Newman who is stuck in Perth due to her health and flight restriction and was struggling for access to basics such as toilet paper due to the supermarket shortages. We were glad to partner with Solaris Paper Australia Pty Ltd to drop off a few rolls. Please, every...one, continue to help each other during these uncertain times. Helping others might only be small in your eyes but, they can be big in someone else! #helpingothers #giveback #makeadifference #community #socialenterprise #aboriginalbusiness #indigenousbusiness

04.01.2022 As Naidoc week 2020 comes to an end we wanted to share the newest addition to the Woollahra/Surekleen office. This amazing piece of art by Lisa Allan. John Browner and I visited Ganalili Cultural Center in Roebourne where we met with Lisa's daughter who shared her mothers story Painting is called: Goannas and Boomerangs by Lisa Allan.... Lisa Allan is a Yindjibarndi Artist who lives in the small, dry, remote Aboriginal Community of Ngurrawaana in the Yindjibarndi tablelands, two hours inland from Roebourne. Self-taught, Lisa has been painting for more than 10 years with Rosemary and Alison Woodley at Ngurrawaana, creating bright acrylic paintings that celebrate her deep love of her Yindjibarndi country, its plants and animals. 02.01.2022 At Woollahra we are proud to have partnered with Fortescue Metals Group , Civeo Australia & Action Industrial Catering (AIC) to deliver 1300 care packages to remote indigenous communities in Western Australia’s Pilbara Region. Remote communities have been particularly effected by the panic buying in city hubs, so it was important that we get these critical supplies of food and sanitary products to those in need as soon as possible. Woollahra is a social enterprise and we prid...e ourselves on living our values of caring for community & country. Big thank you to Fortescue Metals Group for helping us bring this project to life and lending your support to ensure that these vital products get to those who need them most. #handsanitiser #toiletpaper #socialresponsibility #giveback #corporatesocialresponsibility #socialimpact #indigenousbusiness #aboriginalbusiness #panicbuying #communityfirst
