20.01.2022 We have received the following press release from our Australian and Japan Promoters: SOUNDWORKS DIRECT STATEMENT TOUR TO BE POSTPONED Due to ongoing developmen...ts with current world health issues, the continuously changing circumstances, and with the best interests and well being of everyone involved, SOUNDWORKS DIRECT sadly has no option but to postpone the upcoming NILE tour. This has been another incredibly difficult decision to make, but one we feel is the best to make at this point in time. Ticket purchasers will receive a refund via point of purchase. 16.01.2022 Lithium Entertainment, Updraft Agency & Valley Fiesta present HRBRT w/ Rohan The Intern & Lyle Bray - November 20th HRBRT are amongst the most exciting acts to emerge from Brisbane’s burgeoning jazz and improvisational music scene, having crafted a unique and futuristic blend of funk, fusion, neo-soul and electronic music. One of the few bands that can truly make odd meters groove & instrumental music sing, they have been described as one of the musical gems of Brisbane... and indeed Australia. Local keyboardist/producer Rohan Seekers' solo project, Rohan the Intern, made a quiet but assertive debut on WYWS at the end of 2017 with "Blue", a 40-odd minute collection of dusty sample loops, drawing heavily from soul music and Brazilian sounds. The response to "Blue" and it's subsequent cassette release has seen Rohan featured on 4ZZZ Radio's live-to-air performance program Right Here, Right Now and Melbourne-based web series Ride With It.
