14.01.2022 Our inspiring and committed SRC led a valuable initiative to support two local charities, Orana and Dandelion Foundation. These organisations provide important services in the Sutherland Shire for those who need it most. They actively collected non-perishable food items for Orana’s community pantry and toys and funds for Dandelion Foundation who support young disadvantaged families. Thank you to all those students and families who contributed to such a great cause. We continue to be incredibly proud of the altruism that underpins our school culture and that makes a positive difference in our community.

11.01.2022 Remembrance Day Today, at 11am, our students responded to a bell by stopping what they were doing and by standing silently and taking a moment to remember those who risked everything for our freedom. There was no need to prompt any student or for our staff to supervise this, it is just the way our students show us they understand this moment requires respect. I am so proud that this tradition is continuing. Thank you WHS students. M Benson.
