17.01.2022 Ok so after 18 months off to deal with health and moving issues, Ive decided to reopen Woolshed Valley Tours. Once Ive decided on a new format and of course COVIDSafe, Ill be announcing how we will be able to show off the magnificent Woolshed Valley. The new tours will be completely different to the old. We will no longer be working with the so called Eldorado community as that just didnt work out at all. Ive personally just taken a trip into the valley today and its rekindled my love of the history and bushland.

09.01.2022 Triangular Cave in the Byrne Gully - To the left was a cliff-like slope studded with boulders and tenacious trees; up to the right emerged a huge, dark tor called London Rock. At its base, reached by a narrow, cliff-face track from the head of the waterfall, was a small, triangular cave, just big enough for two, with a chimney-like vent that ran up and back, into the heart of the rock. For young Joe and Aaron, it was a hiding place, a vantage point commanding the approach up the gully. A cool, dark, secret grotto that breathed the peace of centuries and the protective might of the tor.
