21.01.2022 To all our customers, Through these challenging times, the aim of every Australian supermarket is to provide you and your family with the food and essentials you need. That’s why collectively, we want to reassure you that your wellbeing, and that of our teams, will always be our priority.... Our suppliers and teams are doing everything possible to get as many products onto all our shelves as they can, often under very difficult circumstances. So we ask you to please be considerate in the way you shop. We understand your concerns, but if you buy only what you need and stick to the product limits, it helps everyone, especially the elderly and people with disability. There are thousands of your fellow Australians who are working tirelessly across our stores every day. To them, we say thank you. We ask that you treat these dedicated people with the courtesy and respect they deserve. No-one working or shopping in any of our stores should experience abusive or aggressive behaviour. Thank you for your patience and support as we rise to the challenge of these extraordinary times together. For further Woolworths updates, please visit our website https://www.woolworths.com.au/updates

20.01.2022 We're here for the community - meet the team from The Bread and Butter Project. Woolworths are supporting local businesses such as The Bread and Butter Project. The social enterprise company came on board as a Woolworths supplier after many of the restaurants and cafes they supply to have temporarily closed due to lockdown. From their Marrickville depot, the team at The Bread and Butter Project are working hard to supply 14 Woolworths Metro stores with fresh bread and pastries.
20.01.2022 To help support the shopping needs of the elderly and people with a disability, we’ve introduced temporary measures across our stores to help them obtain essential items in a less crowded environment. From tomorrow Tuesday 17th March until at least Friday 20th March, we'll have a dedicated shopping hour from 7am to 8am for the elderly and those with a disability (where possible). Access to the store during this time will require a relevant Government issued Pensioner Concess...ion or Seniors Card. Thank you for your patience while shopping with us. It's important that everyone remains calm and treats our teams and other customers with respect. For more information and other updates, please visit our website. https://www.woolworths.com.au/updates

10.01.2022 We'd like to update you on the shortages we're seeing in toilet paper. To ensure more customers are able to purchase what they need, we now have a two-pack per transaction limit on toilet paper, both in-store and online. The two-pack limit has been set to ensure more customers can access what they need during increased demand. Placing a limit of two will also ensure those who require more than the average quantity of toilet rolls, such as large families, care facilities or ch...ild care centres, for example, can still purchase the number of toilet rolls they may immediately require. We’re working closely with our suppliers to get products onto shelves as quickly as we can. The makers of Kleenex, Sorbent, Quilton and Woolworths own range of toilet paper are continuing to produce extra stock in Australian facilities to meet the demand. As a result, large volumes of toilet paper supply are flowing through daily to our stores nationwide. With this ongoing stock delivery, we encourage customers to continue purchasing only what they require. It's worth noting that the vast majority of products aren't affected and there aren't significant shortages in most stores and online. Thank you for your patience. For more information, please visit our website. https://www.woolworths.com.au//community/stock-level-update
