24.01.2022 Congratulations to Rochelle Tapara who won the A grade Ladies Singles Final today against Karen Jensen in a well played match. Roachy now goes on to play in the Champion of Club Champions at Tewantin-Noosa in September. Good luck and good bowling Roachy.

16.01.2022 Lots of busy hands at our club today preparing for our REOPENING next Monday 8 June. Our volunteers and staff are working tirelessly painting, cleaning, washing, tidying, cementing, restocking etc. A BIG THANK YOU to all our helpers. Some of us rolled up in the beautiful Winter sunshine on our well maintained greens, thanks to the dedication of our greenkeeper, Geoff.

14.01.2022 Finals day at our club today! Congrats to our Ladies BGrade Singles Champion for 2019-20, Julie Christian, who defeated upcoming bowler, Barbara Hastie, 25-16 in an exciting game. And congrats to Shane Krause and Doug Tognolini, our Men's Pairs Champions for 2019-20, defeating Howard Riach and Neville Kuskopf 23-11 in a well-fought game. Well done to all for displaying such good sportsmanship and great bowling skills.

13.01.2022 Our 17th Annual 3 day Woombye $10,000 was held on the weekend with teams from Dalby, Chinchilla, Tara, Toowoomba, Brisbane and the Sunshine Coast competing. Overall winners, taking home $4,000 and $3,800 in the Calcutta pot, with 7 wins, was Brian Slatter's team from Dalby. Well done!!! Congrats. to all bowlers, organiser Howard Riach, many volunteers and staff for your support in making this another successful event at our small hinterland club.

12.01.2022 Great to see a "full house" of 20 bowlers on our greens for our regular Wednesday social morning "roll up" from 9am. It is pleasing to have people getting back into the swing of things, Covid 19 style. And starting next Saturday from 2pm, we plan to have more social roll ups, playing Scroungers format. This is great practice for the upcoming Pennant season, planned to start on Saturday 1 August.
