25.01.2022 It has been a big year for everyone, especially our Women Supporting Women in the Yarra Ranges participants. Local woman Nicole Bechard delivered our final workshops for 2020. Living in Balance consisted of two workshops that enabled participants to explore ways to release the stresses of the last few months and supported them to rebalance their thoughts and emotions. It provided them with tools and techniques to assist them in regaining a sense of calm and strength moving forward. Participants enjoyed the workshops and were grateful to be able to explore these tools and techniques in a safe and supportive environment online. This program is proudly supported by your local community bank branches of Bendigo Bank.

22.01.2022 Radio Eastern 98.1FM Talent Search competition is in its 3rd season and is open for those musically talented people to submit your entries! The competition is open to anyone in Australia. It does not matter your age, the genre of music, whether it is a song or musical, the competition is open to all. The show is broadcast over a 1 hour show with about 8 to 10 songs being played each week. This is a great opportunity for entrants to have airplay, some publicity about yourself... out there and also have the chance to win the monthly prize of $500 for the most popular for the month. The competition goes into February 2021, with a 'final' month of popular entries in the running for the Grand prize of $1,500 for the winner and $500 for the runner-Up. 09.01.2022 Late last year, local community bank branches of Bendigo Bank provided Eastern Domestic Violence Service with a sponsorship to deliver their Women Supporting Women program in the Yarra Ranges. The program has currently delivered 8 therapeutic support workshops to 47 women living in the Yarra Ranges who are recovering after their experiences of family violence and/or hardship. The program has provided an environment for women to share common experiences and learn about new and creative ways to manage their self-care. All participants agreed that they felt like these sessions were helpful for their recovery! EDVOS and the participants in the program are very grateful for the support from the local Community Bank Branches of Bendigo Bank.

Vanessa Lezama won the $500 prize money with her song "Stuck" and faced very strong competition from many other artists.... Murray interviewed Vanessa on Sunday's show talking about her music and her thoughts about her career.
