24.01.2022 Wooroolin Lions completed their 2017/2018 disbursements on Monday when President Dave presented a cheque for $4000 to Amy Luhrs at the LifeFlight base in Toowoomba. LifeFlight perform over 300 missions to the South Burnett every year, and the club is very proud to support them. Our 2017/2018 disbursements totalled $12,392.00, and included a cardiac defibrillator for the Wooroolin Community (installed at the pub) and an educative garden for the students at Wooroolin State School. Next time you see the team working in their purple shirts you will know that good things are happening.

03.01.2022 The Wooroolin Lions Car Boot Sale for 2018 is done and dusted, and once again a fantastic effort from our members and supporters. Not a huge turn out from either buyers or sellers, but still a great community event. Thank you to all who came along this morning. Big thanks to Lindsay and Jacinta for the great music, Shane and Robyn for providing the jumping castle, Sue and Rhonda for making some kids (and bigger kids, Wendy T!) very happy with their face painting. Once again a brilliant effort from our club; in particular Carl, Dalty, Dino, Laurence, Noel, Ron, Reggie, and the Waynes (L & W). Also thanks to Matty S for coming in at "sparrow's" to help set up, and to Wendy T and Rosie for helping with the flyers. Thanks everyone!
