15.01.2022 Management of WHS risks in the workplace is one of the most difficult organisational functions to manage. A WHS professional posesses broad multidisciplinary and generalist knowledge in technical risk management, experience and leadership skills and above all, independence in reporting and thinking. In many organisations WHS is seen as something anyone in the workplace can do..unfortunately Safe Work Australia statistics indicate that this approach is not working and a more professional approach is needed to support organisations on their journey to discharge moral, legal and ethical obligations. 13.01.2022 What are your passions? `Mine are surfing, family and promoting work health and safety..and not necessarily in that order....I understand that many do not share my passion for WHS and think that it is another burden for the business owner or in WHS speak the PCBU - Person Conducting a Business or Undertaking to deal with.
