22.01.2022 Hi. Does anyone know anyone who is looking for lite part-time work, for people with disabilities/mental health only? I have a few opportunities (i.e. jobs like mobile car washing) available. Would require support hours to be available, to drive, train up etc. (approx. 3 hours per day). Jobs involve light manual labour (like car washing). Earning $50 per 2 hour job.... I am a support worker and I would pick up from home (NOR only). We then go to the job where I give all the necessary training. I have 3 years experience in professional car detailing, so I transfer all this required knowledge. I then supervise and do all necessary quality control. This is all about trying to give work opportunities to those with disabilities/mental. Some want to earn a fair wage, which this work will allow. Some just to lead a life of value and input into the community, which this allows. 22.01.2022 So what happens at the moment is I am the support worker for a guy who I assist in running his own business. I drive him to and from work. He has a disability so I assist him with all the operations of running the business like getting clients, doing a good job, collecting and banking his money, buying work materials etc. so each morning I pick him up, we go to the job. He does all the work and I assist him if needed and do all the quality control and training. The client... pays him direct and I then drive him home. That all takes 4 hours approximately. The job is mobile car washing. I was a professional car detailer for 3 years, a few years before I became a support worker. This is the model that I would like to replicate with another client, either in the morning or arvo. My agency, who hires me as a support worker, pays my wages. With future clients, I would probably work directly with them but I can work through an agency if necessary. My rate is $30 per hour. With 30 years experience working with people with disabilities and challenging behaviours, I train people with extreme patience and kindness and compassion. With over 20 years experience in commerce and business, I am able to provide the real support needed. Real refers to the practical steps needed to make your business a success, not just theories and ideas. 14.01.2022 How this works... If you are interested in starting your own business, here is what we can help you with: We provide you with all your customers. You can earn between $20 and $30 per hour per job. Most jobs are approx. 2 hours.... This is a casual position - you can work as much or as little as youd like. The customer pays you direct, you keep 100% of the income. I provide all the equipment, you dont need to bring anything. All you need to do is to be very keen to work. A great attitude is essential. My role is that of support worker, I would invoice you for NDIS payment through your support worker budget. So in summary - if you are keen to work, you can do a work trial to see if it suits you. 10.01.2022 I am still looking for someone, male or female, urgently - for domestic cleaning. They will need police clearance, good attitude, NDIS funding. This job pays approx. $20 ph. 2 hour job. Once per fortnight. I fulfill the role of the support worker/business coach/mentor. This job requires 2 people so in total there are 3 people on this job - Myself, and 2 others.... If the person is NOR, I am able to pick them up and drop them off. I provided ALL equipment, each worker just needs their own gloves. I provide ALL the training, no experience necessary.
