16.01.2022 If you are an employer, you are responsible for developing a return to work plan with the goal of returning your injured worker to their pre-injury position. If you intend to dismiss the worker before this goal can be achieved, you must give 28 days’ notice to the worker and to WorkCover WA. If the worker is receiving weekly payments, you must continue to pay them, along with any rehabilitation and treatment expenses.
