The four Dolls are on their way to the Better Foundation located in the Blacktown & Mount Druitt Hospitals.... A big thank you goes to those who have purchased a Doll so far, bringing a little Christmas cheer and helping those with mental illness, trauma, or social issues.

14.01.2022 A huge shout out to the Blacktown City Lantern Club (BCLC) who have raised over $500 for the Royal Institute for Deaf and Blind Children (RIDBC) here at Workers Blacktown & Workers Sports in the last few weeks! That's not all! They also raised over $5,000 with their stalls at Seven Hills Shopping Centre throughout the year which will be donated to the RIDBC! ... The BCLC give thanks to our staff who assisted in deliveries and storage of various items and gifts throughout the year. "Without the help and support of the BWCG, the BCLC would have ended a year ago. 11.01.2022 From Friday 1st January, all hospitality venues including the Blacktown Workers Club Group will require patrons to use the NSW Government CovidSafe check-in within the Service NSW app. It is recommended that you download the Service NSW app prior to your next visit. https://www.service.nsw.gov.au/campa/service-nsw-mobile-app On arrival, scan the QR code at our entrance using the QR code scanner or camera function in your smartphone before you enter. Follow the prompts and sh...ow your check-in confirmation to staff. For those that need assistance or don’t have a smartphone, there will be dedicated staff available to help. BWCG still requires you to register using your membership card for members or valid photo ID for visitors, so please have those ready to present on entry. We understand that this may create some delays, however we are obligated to comply with this new NSW Health directive. 06.01.2022 A new initiative from the BWCG is to provide Blacktown Youth Services Association (BYSA) with non-perishable health foods, hygiene products and mobile phones with donation boxes at all three venues. Here is Brett & Shelley donating a few items to one of our donation boxes. BWCG have also set up donation boxes for the ‘BYSA Christmas Dinner Appeal’ to show the homeless and disadvantaged youths that we care.... All donations are welcome no matter how small and will be much appreciated by Blacktown Youths. 06.01.2022 Through the great team at WASH House and with a big help from our Members and Staff, we were able to donate toys, books and other items to the children of women experiencing domestic violence and social hardship. The WASH House Inc. is a community based resource centre for women based in Mount Druitt. It is a place of support, information and a step to other services. They offer a range of services and activities for women in the Blacktown LGA and surrounds. The aim of the WA...SH House is to reduce the impact of poverty, social disadvantage and violence on the lives of women and their families. They do this through the provision of women-centred, quality, timely, culturally sensitive and accessible services. We will have over 500 women come to us throughout the Christmas period, this will be a great help, thank you, you will not believe what a difference this will make Cindy Ryan, Wash House Inc. 04.01.2022 We are proud of our fellow NSW citizens for the effort that has seen record testing numbers and reducing numbers of Covid-19 cases. However, there is still virus circulating and our priority is to ensure the safety and wellbeing of our members, guests and staff. As a further precautionary measure, we are continuing to reduce the number of activities in the venues.... This includes the Free Live Music program at our three clubs on this weekend (26th and 27th December) as well as over the New Year’s weekend (31st December to 3rd January). The ticketed events in Pop Lounge, Diamond Showroom and at Hubertus are cancelled and we’re processing refunds for those patrons now. Please email [email protected] if you require a refund and have not heard from us yet. Promotions, raffles and the dining events in Hi Lights Revolving Restaurant will continue but remember, CovidSafe regulations apply including limited seating. 01.01.2022 Today the Blacktown Workers Club Group (BWCG) Team are donating 400 hampers totaling over $11,000 to Meals on Wheels NSW. Meals On Wheels was brought to Australia in 1953, delivering meals to the needy. To this day Meals On Wheels delivers over 4.5 million meals each year! BWCG have proudly been supporters for the last 33 years by providing volunteers, a dedicated delivery van, meal and drink vouchers and hampers.
