25.01.2022 2020... Wow, you were somethin'! So it only makes sense to write about it. For those who are interested click the link to read more about how my 2020 went (for business). It wasn't my worst year, I was incredibly fortunate. But what a ride it was. ... Wishing everyone a positive 2021! https://www.workforitfitness.com.au/post/farewell-2020

25.01.2022 Some favourite tools of the trade.

24.01.2022 Wishing you all a happy new year! Here’s to a year of focusing on good health and our happiness.

24.01.2022 As frustrating as these Stage 3 restrictions are, what's not frustrating is eating really delicious food, in fact - I would say that having more time to be able to create some insanely tasty meals at home could just be a blessing in disguise. Get the recipe for this gourmet inspired pizza on the blog now. It's certainly been one of the most popular recipes on the website so I'd say there have been a lot of households with happy bellies since this was released. https://www.workforitfitness.com.au/post/homemade-pizza

24.01.2022 Dont expect yourself to feel motivated every day. We all have moments where we feel flat - mentally or physically. Allow yourself to feel that. Its ok. Aim to remain dedicated to your health and fitness but also, understand that you can have days that are better than others and that its ok to take some days a little slower.

23.01.2022 Salivating just thinking of how damn delicious these Chilli Lime Prawns are...Feel like recreating them? Click the link below. https://www.workforitfitness.com.au/post/chilli-lime-prawns

23.01.2022 There’s nothing like a pavlova on Christmas Day. If there is one thing I can’t stress enough for Christmas is to just relax and enjoy the day, the food, the drink. It’s been a hard year so don’t be too hard on yourself. Enjoy the holiday celebrations with your family. Keep active and have fun.

23.01.2022 With Melbourne (finally) coming out of lockdown it’s so important to support small. Pre-closures; small businesses already had to constantly compete with big business, so now more than ever it’s time to rally around our small & local businesses and give them lots of love Feel free to share the love and tag your fave local businesses below! 23.01.2022 I'll be honest with you, I'm not a huge bean person. But this salad converted me. It's fresh, it's light and it's full of flavour - not to mention it is nutrient dense. Don't believe me? Why not try it for yourself? https://www.workforitfitness.com.au/post/mixed-bean-salad

23.01.2022 Think about your why daily. And make sustainable changes to get there

22.01.2022 Dont forget to take a bit of time after your workout to stretch. Your body will thank you for it This beautiful mat is from @yogipeaceclub

21.01.2022 Today is @ruokday and World Suicide Prevention Day. Today was the day I learnt they 89% of people know someone who has attempted suicide. Which is absolutely heartbreaking. So its more important than ever to ask the question: Are you ok? There are so many ways to check in on someone. Mental health does not discriminate. It could be your friend who always seems to be in a good mood, the one whos often quiet... it doesnt matter what you see on the outside, what matters is... that we check in on them. If youre a little unsure of how to ask someone if theyre doing ok, head to the link in my bio to visit the R U OK? Day website. It has so many helpful ways to start the conversation and assistance on what to do afterwards. This year has been utterly devastating for so many, so please check in on those around you. Whether we know each other or not, please never hesitate to talk to me whenever you need. If you or someone you know is struggling, support is only a call away: @beyondblueofficial - 1300 22 4636 @lifelineaustralia - 13 11 14

21.01.2022 Sunday stretch is on tomorrow; dont stress though - I wont be putting in any poses like this one. But it is something Ive been able to do since becoming more flexible, so join me tomorrow to get bendy. DM me to book in for the Sunday Zoom stretch flow at 10am. . . $10 p/session

20.01.2022 Practice practice practice.

20.01.2022 Its a bit of an uncertain time, but one of the most important things you can do for yourself is to MOVE. Do at least 30min of exercise everyday, not only will it be beneficial to your body but also your mental health. You dont have to do a hard workout, go for a walk around the local area, or a bike ride - something is always better than nothing . . by @sophiecostello

20.01.2022 During my time off over the Christmas & New Years I made sure I kept active. But I didn’t always want to do a traditional workout. I needed to do something more fun... I haven’t played tennis in about 15+ years. I was never any good and as it turns out, I’m still no good. But it was in fact a very good workout - and I had a good giggle at the same time.

19.01.2022 Have friends coming over and looking for something new to serve? This grilled feta salad is so delicious they’ll be asking you for the recipe Link in bio

17.01.2022 Online training to a lot of people may seem a little weird... and when I first started running online 1:1 & Groups I wasnt sure myself how it would go. But Ive been given some amazing feedback from clients who have made the transition with me through these restrictions. Have a read of what they have to say and if youd like to learn more, send me a DM. @ Work For It Fitness

16.01.2022 We may not be able to laugh like this in person right now, but we still have a good time in Zoom sessions. Moving to online training was a no-brainer during Stage 4. Is it exactly what we want to be doing? No. But is it just as effective? Yes! You can still have an amazing workout through the screen. If youre keen to join some groups DM me and Ill give you all the info you need to get started. .... 15.01.2022 Sunshine and Salads. There’s nothing quite like warmer weather to get me into a salad kind of mood. I just cut up whatever veges I have, add some eggs and a squeeze of balsamic glaze and it’s done!

15.01.2022 You are stronger than you know. Times are tough, they will be for a little while longer, but I guarantee youll come out stronger in the end.

13.01.2022 Yesterday I was not motivated at all. But I told myself 30mins of something is better than doing nothing. So I got it done. It doesnt have to be intense, it doesnt have to be sweat inducing or that will make your muscles burn - just move.

12.01.2022 Not trying to toot my own horn here, but this is probably one of the best recipes I've written ever. You don't have to ask me though, ask anybody who's tried it - or better yet, give it a go and try it for yourself. https://www.workforitfitness.com.au/post/maple-granola

10.01.2022 Yesterdays smoothie bowl post-run. Dragonfruit, Mango, Raspberries, Almonds, Linseeds & Oat Milk topped with Chia seeds. Absolutely delicious!

10.01.2022 This is what I tell my clients. There is so much pressure (especially for women) to look a certain way; a bigger booty, flat tummy, zero cellulite... beauty standards are really messed up!!! But we are all made differently, no body is the same and that should be celebrated. What we should be focusing on how we FEEL. When we focus on eating nutritiously and not restrictively, exercising by doing something we enjoy so it’s not a chore... these are things that can make us FEEL good physically and mentally. And that’s the most important thing; to feel good within ourselves.

09.01.2022 Havent checked out my recipes yet? Click the link in my bio to find all my recipes on the blog.

09.01.2022 You got a room? You got a gym! Got kids? Doesn’t matter. No time? Now you do. ... Being in your own home gives you the freedom to get your exercise in without the hassle of travel or babysitting; and if you’re running a little late you won’t even miss too much, just log in and off you go! Each class is a different workout so you won’t repeat it at all during the week. And if you think there’s no focus on technique, I can happily tell you you’d be wrong as I will still pull up poor form. The group timetable is: Monday - 6:30pm Tuesday - 6:30pm Wednesday- 9:30am Friday - 8:00am Sunday Stretch - 10:00am** (class moving to a new time slot soon, stay tuned) Want to give it a go? Shoot me a DM for more info or to book. See you on the screen!

05.01.2022 This is what post 7.5km looked like for me this morning. I was a sweaty mess, the run felt rubbish even though pace was pretty good... but the most important thing was is that I got it done. 03.01.2022 We can be so cruel to ourselves sometimes. Instead of criticizing what we deem ‘imperfections’ on ourselves let’s celebrate the amazing things our bodies do for us. The healthier our mind is towards our body will create a happier relationship with our body.

01.01.2022 ~ Serena Williams. And she’s not wrong, I’m sure we’ve all had stages in our lives where we feel nobody believes in you. But when you trust in yourself and believe you can you’ll prove them all wrong.
