19.01.2022 It is with great regret & sincere apologies that Tamworth Hockey announces today an immediate & full closure of the facility and a postponement of all events, m...eetings, competitions & training in all forms until the 2nd May, 2020. This decision has not be made lightly and it has been made in accordance with the recommendations of Hockey NSW and Hockey Australia based on the latest medical information. Further we advise having received notification this morning of Hockey NSW Mens Masters decision to cancel the over 40s / 45s state championships that we were looking forward to hosting on 1st May. Please stay tuned for updates as to the delayed season start on this page. Please note this information does not change the arrangements for York Cup and Kim Small Shield which we intend to still hold in July 2020. regs Mark OConnor President

07.01.2022 Mens Trial Matches this afternoon 4 July - Important information: Hi everyone, if you are coming along to the Mens trial matches this afternoon a couple of requ...irements to be aware of: . Please ensure your Hockey NSW registration has been paid as you must be registered to play; . Please make ensure you have signed and returned your individual checklist to your Club Covid Officer prior to playing (in need we can print these at the complex to be signed prior to entry); . Please make sure you turn up early before the game and wait at the front of the main administration building in the car park for your Club COVID officer / team manager to sign you in before you enter the Complex; . Please make sure you hand sanitise on the way in and move straight to your field to play; . No bags will be allowed in the Hockey Complex, just bring your stick, shin pads, mouth guard that you require to play; . Goal Keepers will be able to bring their kit bags into the Complex. These must be stored at the GK change area which is situated on the bitumen at the front of the old Club House near the exit gate; . At the end of your game please do not shake hands and avoid direct contact with your opposition. A stick tap as acknowledgement of a good game is fine. . Please then move straight through the dugout, hand sanitise and leave the field quickly so that the next team can proceed down to play their game. .Please ensure to exit via the exit gate (old entry) in front of the old clubhouse. . Any spectators require to hand sanitise and sign in at the front entry at the admin building. Games and Game times are attached. Please be patient with regard to the COVID19 requirements, as the new fields and new complex are absolutely magnificent and the slight inconvenience getting in will be more than offset by the thrill of getting back out and playing the game we love. Going to be a projected Max of 13 degrees so definitely remember to bring your jumper but should be good weather for Hockey. See you at the fields. James Hindmarsh Mens Convenor
