03.01.2022 SLOMO (Slow down & Move Over) Are you aware that it is now a legal requirement to slow down to 40km/h and move over to the other lane when driving past emergenc...y service vehicles pulled over with their lights on regardless of the road speed limit. Today on a busy Ennis Ave (100km/h road) WAPOL showed up to help keep our crews safe whilst working on a scrub fire on the side of the road and reinforce this message. Routinely we have problems with cars speeding past incidents we are working at which puts our crews in danger so please remember. SLOMO - Slow down to 40 & Move over!
