22.01.2022 A flashback to when Working Horse Productions was originally formed. Back in 2013 Elise and Glen went up to Lancelin with 4 horses to contribute to the recreation of the charge of Beersheba for The Waler: Australias Great War Horse (an ABC documentary created during the Centenary of ANZAC: https://youtu.be/MqHGgn9CA8Y). It was a great experience and we were proud to be involved in recreating such an important piece of history.

20.01.2022 Day 2: first day on set and we have spent some time acclimatising - both horses and handlers. We added some finishing touches to our camp (including party lights) and introduced the horses to the town.

19.01.2022 Our latest work providing ‘hero horse’ Rufus to act as a race horse in this advertising promotion. The need for close ups while at speed requires well trained horses that can cope with claustrophobic conditions. To complete this shoot a vehicle traveled only a few feet away with the camera mounted on a boom even closer. All this at speed and over a number of takes. To achieve a safe outcome horse selection, proper preparation and an understanding of how horses cope under such conditions are critical factors considered and implemented by WHP. Ultimately safety and animal welfare form the basis for all our work. Enjoy

16.01.2022 We saw The Furnace on Tuesday night! It was so amazing to see all those months (for us) and years (for Roderick & co) of hard work distilled into 116 minutes! So very grateful and proud to have been involved in such a great production. Cannot wait to watch it again (and again) and share it with the family and friends who supported us along the way.

We can provide canine services with our partnership with K9 Solutions Australia. Also our capacity to support the industry has grown as we provide advisory services on police and military in film. This also includes Armourer (firearm props) which adhere to WA Police requirements. Our website will soon have more information on our growing services.

08.01.2022 In February last year Glen and Bronwyn were on the set of Home, starring Nathaniel Dean and Jack Thompson. It was a lot of time parked at a hitching rail, but Bronwyns horses Fourty and Rozzie just chilled out and played their part.
