25.01.2022 Sharing this flyer for local parents in Bundaberg. A parent education course to reduce anxiety and build resilience in 2-12 year olds. I have not attended this personally and do not know the presenter or content so am not recommending, however just sharing what was shared with myself. Happy Tuesday everyone

19.01.2022 I've been having flare ups of eczema/dermatitis around my eyes and so have started "the eczema diet" with a 3 day cleanse, it has been challenging and here are my thoughts around the 3rd day...... Day 3- eczema diet, 3 day cleanse. Still had an underlying headache today and not sure if it's from the cleanse or sore back (don't know why my backs sore either though). More energy today, more food prep and education. Last night I was very close to pulling the pin after havi...ng a terrible headache all day, but I'm glad I didn't. No swelling to my face now and overall my skin is feeling pretty calm, only mild tingling that comes and goes. I have always had asthma and hay fever as well which is the trifecta with skin conditions in the medical world and my wheeze had become increasingly bad over the last month. I do feel like yesterday and today it has been a lot better. Hopefully because of this diet. Tomorrow I will introduce some more low inflammatory foods that hopefully my body will continue to tolerate. I'm feeling hopeful about this journey and am learning to listen to my body more. I'm excited but also a little scared about what tomorrow will bring. See more

11.01.2022 My tip for anyone who might want to start an R U OK? conversation is to just do it. Take a deep breath and ask the question. You don’t need to have all the ans...wers. Just letting that person know that you care and that they are worthy of being cared about is sometimes enough. Have the Lifeline and Mental Health Line numbers stored in your phone or wallet, in case you feel it’s out of your depth, but most importantly just listen and be there for that person. R U OK? Ambassador Lisa Nichols shares her tip for starting a conversation that could change a life. #theresmoretosay #ruokday #ruokeveryday

02.01.2022 Sometimes I feel so small and insignificant compared to the amazing wonders of our planet. Its crazy how witnessing a sunrise or the awe of nature can ground you
