25.01.2022 "Not Done Yet" is a glimpse into the lives of trans and gender-diverse young people living in Melbourne, created especially for #TransDayofVisibility. Featuring... music by Trans artists SIMONA and Zaya Barroso. Thanks to William Eicholtz and his Courage sculpture, commissioned by the Yarra City Council, to acknowledge the contributions of Australias LGBTQIA+ community, and to commemorate the life of Australias first openly gay mayor, Ralph McLean. Directed, filmed and edited by Melbourne-based interdisciplinary artist Phil Soliman, "Not Done Yet" is the starting point of a longer film project that examines the challenges and triumphs of #trans and #genderdiverse people in Australia and around the world. If youd like to be part of this project, to either contribute your story, or help make it, please get in touch. The hope is that through this project conversations about #transvisibility #transphobia #tpoc #intersectionality and other trans issues will become more mainstream and effect actual change for members of the trans community, whether they are visible or not. Please share among your networks and get the conversation started #notdoneyetfilm
