20.01.2022 Covid-19 and the imminent economic recession/depression has been a very busy time for employee centred employment lawyers. Despite hiring staff, moving from a desk to an office and getting a whole new automating software system - we have to accept that we still can't keep up. Or to put it another way: we're full to the brim. Because businesses are meant to grow, we never thought we'd be making this decision but ultimately growing too fast risks everyone's health, and our rapi...d expansion could impact upon WorkLawyers (admittedly cheesy sounding but genuinely held) standards of "fast service, frank advice and fair prices". Therefore we won't be taking any new clients except for a limited range of cases that are referred to us by Community Legal Centres at least until the beginning of October. Work takes time. So to properly assist our current clients we need to get all our research, pleadings, hearings, deeds, negotiations, admin, interviews, and affidavit ducks in lots and lots of rows.
