25.01.2022 Had a major client today that was concerned of critical business data loss which was being stored on a desktop pc..... A desktop PC !!! So not only did we end up recovering the data and saving the day but we stayed around and worked with the businesses IT manager to further lock down the SOE platform and distribute new file server storage processes to all employees !

17.01.2022 It's been another busy week of GPS integration & to top it off we are expecting a delivery of Juniper Packeteer's on Monday to deploy on a new project requiring class of service packet inspection for application priority & IPS.

11.01.2022 Happy End of Financial Year ! Yes all it was a steady year this one. We noticed a slow recovery to Infrastructure projects being deployed after a long waited period of all businesses projects being put on hold during the hard 2009-2010 GFC period. 09.01.2022 WorkPC have chosen to target a high growth strategy this year so expect to see brand awareness taking focus. To start the new brand awareness we have begun by creating a new website. We have a new phone number 1300 009 675 & are currently trialing Google Ad-words to see how and when we should recommend this strategy for our customers.

09.01.2022 So we are currently investigating Google Applications. This includes the viability of using this for small business through to enterprise levels. With this knowledge we will be able to recommend this and other alternative solutions. Our key test acceptance criteria is based on Security, Supportability & Cost benefit.

09.01.2022 Just rolled out an 11 user licence of Google Apps for Business. My clients who would typically have been sold a MS SharePoint server with these needs were amazed to see how cloud applications can keep their employees roaming whilst still keeping a singular library of knowledge within the reach of anywhere with Internet access.

08.01.2022 Just got back from managing a deployment of 3G/GPS tracking devices into trucks on behalf of Navman. Exciting times.

04.01.2022 Linux Ubuntu YLMF now installed and playing around. Notice the XP similarities... anyone who hasn't used Linux before would be quite at home here.
