01.01.2022 Australian Unity has been shortlisted for 'Best Employer Response to a Crisis' category for our response to the 2019-20 Black Summer bushfires. Ben Crough, Com...munity & Inclusion Practice Lead said Australian Unity rallied together to support the work of humanitarian and animal charities, as well as customers and employees affected by the fires. "In additional to financial support, some of our incredibly crafty teams joined forces with our aged care and retirement residents to make over 450 animal pouches, bat wraps, nests and other items to support the injured wildlife for the Animal Rescue Collective Craft Guild." This is the fifth year of the Awards, which are organised by industry body Workplace Giving Australia. Winners will be announced at an online presentation event on 25 November.
