07.01.2022 Hi pals, It's been a minute, hope you're all safe and well. We have been so very lucky, WA in particular, in comparison to a lot of other cities in the world. Musicians and music-lovers alike, the arts sector needs your continued support. One of our Workshop featured vox alum and all-round great human Tara Del Borrello has set up a petition.... I have lost count of the times people have come up to me to say how much they loved the vibe of Workshop or gushed over how high the level of talent was or how they were so scared to get up but glad they bit the bullet and did and left so inspired that they wanted to go home and practice immediately - this is just a small glimpse of the impact live music alone has on people. To anyone who has ever been a featured vocalist, part of the house band, jumped up and sang or had a hit or just to enjoy the quality musicianship and vibes (of which there are ENDLESS AMOUNTS), please show up once again and support an industry that EVERYONE benefits from and yet is being under-valued and overlooked in such a trying time. 07.01.2022 A little snippet of the from last months first Workshop of the year The world is a little different now; weve been forced to slow down, our community has taken a massive hit (across all industries), people have lost their livelihoods, people are getting very sick and some of them have died. This is a very real and serious thing were all experiencing. COVID-19 has brought out some pretty ugly sides of humanity but also some very beautiful moments as well - so we choose to find solace in music: a universal language and THE all-time healer So, please, wash your hands, buy only what you need, support local businesses (if you have the capacity), stay home, be kind to each other and tell your people you love them. We hope to see you all up on that stage very soon
