21.01.2022 Does a simple message of thanks make you feel good? These are some of the thank you messages I've received during Covid-19. At times, these were the pick up I needed to reinforce my self worth & the value I've added in managing holiday bookings, cancellations, refunds & credits over the past 7 months. "Some TGIF flowers for you. We appreciate everything you have done for us. Without your help we couldn't do the amazing travel and journeys that we have done and will do wayy...yy into the future." - Anne & Dallas "Hi Lee...THANK YOU... everything is perfect. Can hardly believe we got here and all the inclusions... paradise! It wouldn't have happened without you. Blessings. Adele and Brian xxx" "Both Mum & Bub are doing well...thanks Lee-Anne, you are an angel" - Di "We are so pleased that you had a plan B for us ... again our many thanks" -Stephen & Sandra Some of these came at very low times so I also would like to say thankyou from the bottom of my heart. Care & support like this has meant the world to me. #worldleejourneys #thankyou #gratitude

21.01.2022 No matter where or for how long. Travel will broaden your horizons & allow you to see from different perspectives. Feeling restricted right now? ... Brainstorm crazy ideas & get creative. Go camping, backyard or own suburb if need be. I'm serious, this can be a ton of fun & not far to go when you forget something. Watch travel documentaries. Look back on your favourite travel memories Eat food from your favourite countries Do what you need to do to to keep your travel dreams alive. There are so many amazing things to see & do in our own country There is talk of "travel bubbles" opening up in the very near future. We will get through Corona & remember, I will be here to assist you with your plans when that time comes. Pop any questions you have in comments below.

16.01.2022 It's Frequent Flyer POINTS Tip Friday! I know, it's now Saturday, something went wrong with the post. However, DOUBLE POINTS are on offer so it's worth the wait I'm not letting CV-19 & a thing called money take away my passion for travel. In 2019 my partner & I redeemed 4 return flights & in 2020 we've redeemed 2 return flights. I've worked out how to make Frequent Flyer points work for us & I'm sharing my tips so you can do the same. Save or share this post to anyone... you think it may help. The good news this week is the reopening of some domestic borders. NSW residents, not located in a hotspot area, can now travel to South Australia, the Northern Territory and then Norfolk Island from 01 October. Lord Howe Island is also due to open 27 November. Here's hoping Queensland, WA and Tassie follow suit soon. To celebrate Virgin is offering DOUBLE POINTS on flights booked by 29 September for travel up to 17 August 2021. PLUS they are waiving fees for changes & cancellation so you can book with confidence. How good is that, very nice of your Virgin Where will your next domestic holiday be to? 15.01.2022 I'm often asked, who can I redeem my frequent flyer points for? Virgin defines eligible family members as: a spouse - including de facto partner, parent, step-parent, parent-in-law, grandparent, brother, sister, child - including foster & step children, grandchild, son, daughter, son & daughter-in-laws. The definition, as you can see, is quite broad & you do not need to be travelling with them. This means your wife can travel with her parents or sister on her hu...sband's points for example. Virgin has stacks of frequent flyer seats available throughout there recovering domestic network. Now is the best time to be using points to redeem free flights for you or your family members. With 32 years exp. WorldLee Journeys is here to assist you with where to go & what to do when you arrive to your destination. I've travelled extensively within Australia & have lots of great itinerary ideas & tips to share with you. 14.01.2022 Happy 100th birthday to our national airline Qantas . What a tough year to be celebrating such a wonderful milestone. Supporting Australian businesses in the travel industry is so important because it creates jobs for Australian's. Spending money with foreign-owned companies does the exact opposite. We are battling to save our industry. When you are thinking about your next holiday, in Australia or out, please book it with an Australian travel business. Your children's generation will benefit from it. #supportyourlocaltraveladvisor #holidayherethisyear #qantas

13.01.2022 Hi, Our internal Australian borders are opening . One of my favourite Aussie holidays was my visit to the Bungle Bungles in the Kimberley region of Western Australia. Support your favourite local cafe with a shout out of support in comments below. . 01 October was officially declared in 2014 as a day to celebrate the history of coffee & to raise awareness for the plight of coffee growers around the world. This year it also has a focus on supporting young people in coffee and the small businesses doing it tough due to the impact Covid-19. 06.01.2022 Northern Territory Part 2 of 3: This place blew my mind! NT Summer sale now ON. SAVE $200 on every $1000 spent up to $1000 discount I was only 12 when I first visited & saw the turquoise blue waters of this thermal spring in the top end of the Northern Territory (NT) approx. 4 hours drive south of Darwin. I couldn't wait to feel the warm thermal water on my skin & it let me tell you, it felt amazing. It is such a fond memory of a family trip we took throughout th...e NT. I will hold it with me forever This is Mataranka Thermal Pool, one of two 'safe' pools within @elseynationalpark. Bitter Springs is the more natural setting of the two but I recommend visiting both to experience for yourself. Mataranka Thermal Pool is within the grounds of Mataranka Homestead Caravan Park & the homestead itself is famous for its own reason. This was the set for the 1982 Australian classic film We of the Never Never. The movie depicts the hardships of life in the Outback & battles against sexist & racial prejudices. In the dry season, the movie screens daily at 12 pm in the main bar. Elsey National park also offers many nature walks & the park is also a popular spot for "Barra" Barramundi fishing. Don't forget the Summer Sale, save up to $1000* for a short time only There is no better time to the NT off your bucket list. Questions, pop them in comments & I'd be happy to answer for you Credit: Tourism NT/Natalie Sum #elseynationalpark #matarankahotsprings #matarankahomestead #matarankathermalpool #bitterspringsmataranka #visitthetopend #northernterritorytourism #luxurytravelexpert #bespoketravel #worldleejourneys #luxurytravel #ntsummersale

02.01.2022 Hello fellow travellers. Numbers following this page have grown recently which is great I wanted to take the opportunity to say hi & intro or re-introduce myself to those who've been here for a while. I am the Lee in World"Lee" Journeys. I've been in the industry for 32 years over which I've enjoyed many memorable journeys. This is where the name WorldLee Journeys came from. ... And the journey continues. Even though it's been a challenging year I've found ways travel domestically & share my experiences on social media. We have trips booked to Northern Territory & the Queensland Islands in the next few months. All being well with border's & the like I'll be posting as we go. No professional photos or edited videos. I want followers of this page to see what the places I visit are "really" like. I'm therefore committed to posting real footage & honest reviews only. When I am not travelling I love spending time with my partner Darren & our adorable big white fluffy Siberian Husky Zali. Everyone loves when I post pics of Zali so you can expect to see her pop up on my feed periodically too. Well, that's enough about me, I'm keen to get to know you too. What's been keeping you busy during this topsy, turvy year?
