25.01.2022 Tipperary Springs. Lovely place, but spring water not so lovely. Mill Market was closed unfortunately, but reopening May 30. We'll be back to check it out.

25.01.2022 From Edinburgh to Falkirk, and now in lovely Aberdeen. Staying with an old school chum I havent seen in 35 years. Bought the daggy Christmas knits (second hand, coz lets face it; I wont be wearing it at home )

25.01.2022 Drove from Wadebridge to Port Isaac. Port Isaac is a gorgeous little coastal village well worth a visit. Also found an impressive private collection of Roman and Viking artefacts.

22.01.2022 Not a fun day in London. Whopping parking fine (probably punishment for whinging about our accommodation when so many sleep on the very chilly streets here). But, it was a lovely sunny day and we got lots of walking done. Grateful for supermarkets that sell wine

20.01.2022 Had a lovely catchup in Portsmouth with Julia Curran before hitting the road for the Cornwall area. Stopping at Wadebridge for the night, which is a gorgeous town and heading to Port Isaac tomorrow, the filming location of Doc Martin.

17.01.2022 Big driving day today, so no photos. Drove from Lochness to Perth to drop Liam, then Erin, Ella and I continued on to Newcastle Upon Tyne as a drop in spot before hitting London tomorrow. As always, passed by lovely scenery and finally got a glimpse of coastline and waves.

13.01.2022 Inverlochy Castle and surrounds. No matter how many of these ramshackle castles I see, Im astounded by the workmanship. And the wee hairy coo I saw whilst oot is the cutest thing ever.

01.01.2022 Out and about in London today. Big day of walking and a visit to Hamley's 6 storey toy store. Big Ben fully scaffolded for restoration - so didn't bother taking a photo.

01.01.2022 Short day (literally; its dark by 4:30) in Edinburgh at Christmas Markets. Lovely but bloody expensive. $61 for 2 rides .
