18.01.2022 Bath grime. At least a few month's worth or more here. Easy fix ... JIF. I talk about JIF all the time. That's because it just works. It's my go to on so many things. Remember to wash it all off though. The wetter the better. It has loads of fine particals in it that need to be washed away for that "looks like new" finish. ... 18.01.2022 HOW TO: The Finer Details ... Over time your glass cooktop can look a bit worse for wear. Its normal for minor and sometimes large spills to happen when we are cooking (especially when I'm cooking ).... On a glass cooktop the heat from the element bakes the spill onto the glass. If it isn't cleaned off immediately then we just add to it each time we use it. Let's be honest, there aren't many people who clean it straight away. There are far too many other priorities in life. So don't feel bad. This one is pretty common. Their are specific glass cooktop cleaners in your local supermarket that work. Best not to use Gumption though because it may mark the glass (kind of like using sand paper). Jiff is my go to (I know ... Jiff again. I can't help it - it's just so good!) It's not easy though. You really do need to apply a lot of pressure with a lot of small, focussed scrubbing movements. As usual, make sure you wash all the Jiff off. This will bring your cooktop back to its best. (It is common for an older cooktop to have a lot of small scratches on it. There isn't much you can do with these.) Give it a shot. Let me know how you go in the comments.
