25.01.2022 Hi everyone who has been following us here. It is time to let you all know that I am no longer doing the marbles and no longer have a web site. However, Jim has taken over part of the gallery and will continue to run his business making marbles and other glass items from here, along with Shasa who owns the Contraptuary and also runs his business from our gallery in Sheffield, Tasmania. Thank you to all those wonderful people who have supported and encouraged me over the last 14 years and I hope you will continue to call in and see Jim and Shasa. I am moving on to another phase of my life - no clear direction other than to have lots of fun!!

Black Swan with steel and wood. The body is made from many M12 washers welded together, The wings are laser cut with a Tasmanian Oak veneer. Driven by a large brass worm drive. 04.01.2022 Okay. So it was the best show ever but now we had better gear up for some more work. - that is after a nice long lie in tomorrow morning. Thanks soooo much to Martin, Heather and Laurie England, Penel and Brett and of course Jim Mitchell who was such a star. Oh mustnt forget Peter who stayed back to look after the gallery and who had a delicious roast waiting for us when we got home.

03.01.2022 Its been one of those days. Pulled a muscle in my back having a stretch. Thats okay. Just carried on. Then accidentally smashed a piece of hot soft glass right into the Jets on my torch. Managed to finish what I was doing then dropped it on the floor while lifting it into the kiln. TORCH not okay so grumpy Jan.
