A step back in time might find you shakin' your toosh at the WBD located at Ncle Wkrs (now Panthers). The WBD was an institution back in the 90s with the winning team of Kylie, Des and Nikole spinning tunes and streaming live footage on the big screens every Saturday night.You could have easily been in IBIZA

08.01.2022 WHERE ARE THEY NOW: Artistic Director: Kate Histon Kate began formal ballet and dance training at the age of 4. At 14 Kate’s was accepted into fulltime training at the Marie Walton Academy of Dance in Newcastle.In her late teens Kate’s love of teaching dance and performance was discovered. She began exploring other dance styles and began a 2yr contract as a jazz dancer for the World’s Biggest Disco. In 2000 Kate moved to Byron Bay with an endeavor to build the formalised dance culture she had been apart of for many years. As a qualified teacher through the RDA Kate built Dance Dynamics Theatrical & Performance School. Kate is also a professional facilitator in the field of human behaviour. She specialises in the dance and performance industry and consults to dancers and teachers.
