17.01.2022 CLASSES WILL RESUME TUESDAY DEC 1, 2020 SA Health has introduced new measures to make COVID-19 record keeping and contact tracing safer and easier. As from Tuesday Dec 1, a Covid Safe QR Code scan will be necessary on entry to training centres. More information about how to use it will be made available soon.... Paper recording will continue to be available in centres as back up, and for those members who don’t have a mobile phone. Not all centres will be operating as normal because some schools have decided to suspend hall hire for all hirers until the start of 2021. Training centres affected by this are: St Peters ( Class moved to Payneham Community Centre. ), and Woodville ( Members are asked to go to Albert Park and Semaphore in lieu ) . Please continue to watch our Facebook page or visit our website for any last minute changes/updates. The Grading is likely to go ahead as planned with appropriate safety measures consistent with COVID19 requirements. For any questions please contact us: [email protected] and please revisit this website regularly for the latest updates.

17.01.2022 Kye Rogers - A new black belt graduate talks about his WORLD TAEKWONDO Journey. Congratulation Kye - well done! My name is Kye Dennis Rogers and I started training at Albert Park with Instructor Nick Ratsch back in January 2012. When I was 6 years old. For the last 2 years my main training centre is Semaphore with Instructor Murray Forbes although I still help Inst Nick train the younger kids during the off season of my football training.... I started World Taekwondo when my Primary school had advertised training at the school gym on Wednesday nights. My parents encouraged me because World Taekwondo could build my character, due to my shy personality. Training has helped me by increasing my fitness and strength, has given me confidence, taught me to be respectful, and to have self-discipline. It has also taught me to believe in myself and has given me a passion for teaching. My favourite part of training is my power breaking because it shows my technique and power is improving. I also love attending the self-defence seminars for me to learn skills and improve uncommonly used techniques. I would love to continue training for higher dan levels and continuing to assist with teaching and possibly in the distant future have my own class to teach. Kye Rogers
