23.01.2022 Still an issue in Queensland.

21.01.2022 How about these baths, walk-in fill up using little water and reduce slipping and in some cases thermal jets, can be expensive , still why put a bath in you won't use, other suppliers out there.

19.01.2022 Collapsed builder QCon owes more than $1m to creditors including tax man A collapsed Brisbane building company owes creditors more than a million dollars including almost $100,000 to the tax office.

19.01.2022 We are getting repaired the control/slip joints to the building, assailing is a great way to get to those difficult areas, we cut out, clean, prime, seal and paint affected areas, best workmanship and materials are required, we don’t want to get back up for some time.

17.01.2022 What we sometimes like to say, as experts we must supply and say the facts as you know them, especially where it comes to the people involved, best just stick to your area or expertise.

17.01.2022 These details are from the USA but the same principles apply.

15.01.2022 Hang-in there, best time to do some positive stuff that you can look back on with a smile :)

13.01.2022 A Supreme Court of Appeal has backed a ruling that the builder was not liable for the use of combustible panels on Melbourne’s Lacrosse building. Instead, the engineer, the surveyor and the architect were liable for the use of combustible panels that caused a potentially fatal fire. Financial Review: The appeals court found the builder was not negligent under separate legislation, the Wrongs Act as the three consultants had argued it should be for the use of the polyethyl...ene-core panels that allowed fire to race up 13 levels of the 21-storey building in as little as 10 minutes in the November 2014 fire. The builder can’t be brought into this. That was the main issue, construction industry lawyer Bronwyn Weir told The Australian Financial Review at the weekend. It says a builder can rely on consultants’ understanding on things that are technical and outside their knowledge. Builders can’t be expected to know the intricacies of products. 10.01.2022 This is the answer from the Government to cover the cost of the immigration Ponzi scheme that was running, instead now they are using the everyday tax payers money and borrowed/printed money to pay subsidies to the building industry. Like all these schemes they sound great at first but as we can see the costs of construction is rising. and that will mean associated costs will also rise. Contractors and materials are now demanding more across the board outside these subsidized scheme, right down to a washer in your tap. What we have here is a Government are using money we don't have to inflate the cost of construction in all areas, we will all pay! , when it looks to be to good to be true it generally is. Socialism at it best.
