03.01.2022 Admittedly, since homeschooling my kids over the last 6 months, my time for sharing my beloved essential oils has been a lot less, and I haven't had many workshops or coffee dates. So it was a nice surprise to receive a phonecall yesterday from a lady that I shared a couple of samples with at a local coffee shop about a year and a half ago. She was ready to learn about supporting her emotions and her new learning of colour psychology with essential oils, and it was really nic...e to tap back into what I know and love about emotional work with the oils. We made a couple of blends for her to try. One I chose some oils for various emotional properties that she was seeking, and for the other, she was happy to go along with my suggestion to intuitively pick oils from my box. Even though she didn't love the smell quite as much with these, some of the words from their emotional profiles certainly resonated for her. Connecting with her reminded me of how amazing these oils can be for supporting our emotional state and for influencing the thoughts and feelings we can choose to focus on. Our sense of smell has a strong effect on our limbic system and the scientific chemical components of the oils (calming, uplifting, grounding etc) can really influence how we feel, especially when coupled with practices of deep breathing, meditation and intention-setting. If you're interested in learning how to support your emotional state with essential oils, please reach out and I'd love to have a chat and a sniff with you.

02.01.2022 Yesterday I had 21 awesome kids painting together for my first rock painting workshop for kids! It was great!! Today is cleaning nibs day! The awesome thing about Tooli-Art acrylic paint pens is you can remove the nibs to clean them, and the pack also comes with 3 spare nibs for if they get completely ruined (we are working with kids here, so it's highly likely!).... To clean your nibs: 1. Test your pens. Prep you pens (shake for at least 30 seconds, then press down a few times to charge the paint) to test them all out. 2.If they're not painting cleanly, you just pull out the nib and you can pop it in a little warm water with a drop of dish soap in it. I'm using shot glasses haha. 3. Then cap your pen and place it upright in a jar so you know it has no nib in it (you don't want to shake it now!). 4. Let the nibs soak for a little, clean as much paint of them with your nails if you can and let them soak a little more. 5. Then rinse and dry them and pop them back in. (Be careful using your sink that you don't lose them down your plug hole... speaking from experience.. haha). Re-shake and charge your pain pen and hopefully they're working well again! If they are really not painting well again, you can replace it with a new one. (I don't think many other brands come with clean able and replaceable nibs!) You can get your Tooli-Art 30 pack from here: https://www.amazon.com.au/Assorted-Porcel//ref=mp_s_a_1_5 Happy rock painting all!! Nat xx
