20.01.2022 WoSSCA have just implemented our strategic plan for the next 5 years. The WoSSCA Vision of ‘all women and children living safely, with respect and dignity, free from violence in their chosen community’ remains unchanged, with our Mission to ‘act to prevent and provide responses to gendered violence’ still relevant. We look forward to achieving these set goals and providing best practice support to the women and children we work with into the future.

03.01.2022 Our CEO was very privileged today to facilitate the launch of the Central Australian Minimum Standards for Men’s Behaviour Change Programs. WoSSCA works alongside Alice Springs Tangentyere-Women and the Jesuits to deliver this important program. With women’s safety at the forefront. The standards provide contextually specific expectations for MBCP within Central Australia.

01.01.2022 WoSSCA, along with many women’s services across the Northern Territory, have contributed greatly to the development of the new Risk Assessment and Management Framework that is to be implemented to address Domestic and Family Violence. This is a significant reform in the fight to recognise and respond appropriately.
