24.01.2022 TONIGHT'S EVENT CANCELLED We regret to advise that tonight's event has been cancelled due to lack of numbers. If you've booked a ticket and we haven't been in touch with you yet to advise, we will be in touch shortly. Thank you very much to Jen and the team at Emerge who were very keen to host us.... A big thank you to those of you who have booked tickets to tonight, and we are really sorry that we've had to cancel. We really appreciate your support. Our AGM is scheduled for Wednesday 14 July, please write this date in your diaries and we will release ticketing and newsletters soon. Again, we sincerely apologise for having to cancel tonight.

23.01.2022 We need your assistance please At our AGM, it was raised that we would like to also start supporting Protea Place (along with continuing to support Manna House) with our Monthly Item Donations from our meetings, as well as providing financial support. As we’ve been supporting Manna House for many years now, you’re all familiar with the wonderful work they do. For those of you unfamiliar with Protea Place Women's Support Centre, please check out their page to see the fantas...tic ways they support local vulnerable women in our community. Our Committee roles are: Chairperson/President Secretary/Vice President... Treasurer General Committee Members (Duties include Memberships Officer, Events Co-Ordinator, Social Media, General All-Rounder) For Nomination Form and Position Descriptions, or if you have any queries, please send us a message (as unfortunately our page doesn't have a Files section for us to upload the documents to) and we can email you the forms. 16.01.2022 What a great iniatitive. Drop some non-perishable food items and/or heartfelt handwritten Christmas card in to Newlands Group by 11 December, and the items will be distributed to local charities.

16.01.2022 Thank you to everyone who attended our AGM last night, kindly hosted by Little Pig Consulting. We heard from our outgoing committee members Alison (Chairperson), Bec (Secretary), Avril (Treasurer) who thanked our hosts, members and guests for your generosity over the past 12 months, especially given the challenges throughout the year. Jayne from St Vincent de Paul Manna House spoke about their wonderful services they offer their clients. Amanda & Emily from Protea Place sha...red with us the story of how Protea Place began, and all the amazing work they do for local women in need. Emma from Little Pig explained how they can help businesses with a social media and Internet presence overhaul, making sure you’re getting the best exposure possible. They are also Business Consultants, please give them a call to see how they can help you and your business. Chairperson Alison & Secretary Bec presented Jayne from St Vincent de Paul with a cheque for $750, being the funds raised during the 2019-2020 Financial Year. This was an amazing feat, considering we were only able to host 7 out of our usual 11 events in a Financial Year. Thank you to our generous raffle prize donors Sue Salt Caves Toowoomba and Warwick Core Benefits Toowoomba, also thank you to Emma from Little Pig for your business card raffle prize of a Digital Marketing Overview. #wotmtoowoomba Unfortunately we are missing a photo for one of our lucky raffle winners, Allison, who won the bottle of wine, kindly donated by APM Employment.
