04.01.2022 Okay so our most asked question Where do you get all your items from? Simply put, the answer is everywhere! But to elaborate a little more, I feel this photo sums it up! We search far and wide, often for hours on end to find that very piece we’ve been envisioning. But it’s more than that. It’s the little moments where I stop myself in my tracks and suddenly I’m not just sourcing. It’s moments where I find myself flooding with emotions. It’s moments like this photo that... stop my wandering eyes. Because everything has a much grander meaning. It’s finding forgotten treasures, and giving them a new life. These items once intrigue someone, will intrigue another. There’s something beautiful about that. It’s in that glimpse where I mourn the loss of the previous collector, as I feel a connection to that very person, who once loved the same item as much as I do. That nostalgic feeling, a whirlwind of the simple things in life that immediately bring you back to the present moment. This photo not only makes me appreciate every single item that I then begin to gather, but mostly appreciate the collector that once adored it. See more
