24.01.2022 After much consideration and discussion, the decision has been made to postpone the 2020 WOW Challenge until 28 February 2021, restrictions at that time pending. The WOW is a highlight of the swimming season for the club and for many local, national, and international swimmers, however the WSLSC board, supported by the WOW committee, firmly believe that this is the most responsible choice possible given the current COVID situation in Victoria, safer for our community of membe...rs, volunteers, and participants, as well as for the wider community of the Williamstown Beach precinct. We are immensely grateful for the on-going support of members, local businesses, and event sponsors, as well as Hobson’s Bay council. We’re also very grateful to everyone who has so far expressed interest in entering this year’s WOW. We will look forward to welcoming you to our beautiful beach as soon as we are all able.
