'the TERRA within' examines the impact...s of the past 250 years of colonisation, celebrating the survival of the oldest living culture in the world. Participating artists include South Coast residents Noel Wellington, Peter Hewitt, Jaz Cor and Kirli Saunders, recipients of sponsorship by the Gibbon Foundation who made the exhibition at Shoalhaven Regional Gallery possible. 11.01.2022 After a very successful touring exhibition of regional NSW my "BACK TO BURRA BEE DEE" series of 17 digitally manipulated photographs have been donated to and a...ccepted as a Cultural Gift by the Australian Institute for Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander Studies (AIATSIS), in Canberra. The collection was created at the former COFA (University of New South Wales Art & Design) campus in Paddington, Sydney. "BACK TO BURRA BEE DEE" first opened at COFASPACE Gallery in October 2014 before being exhibited at the following venues: Shoalhaven Regional Gallery & Arts Centre; Coonabarabran Visitors Information Centre; Gunnedah Creative Arts Centre; Armidale Aboriginal Cultural Centre & Keeping Place; Goulburn Regional Art Gallery; Tamworth Regional Gallery and finally at the Orange Regional Gallery in December 2016. I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone that was involved in the setting up and staging of the exhibitions and to all of my loyal family and friends for their ongoing encouragement and support. I would also like to take the opportunity to thank ARTS NSW for their support in assisting me to be able to realise my vision.
